Trial: Annual
Years Trialed: 2001Good Qualities
Harvest whole plant, long-lived but 'Serenade's' were better last year; Good germination.Problems
Too short (3); Would this make a better bedding plant?; None; Melted in heat; Performed less well than other members of this series; Even shorter than the Callistephus 'Daylight Purple'; white tended to 'brown out' (mold, mildew, fungus, etc.); much quicker than the purple; Aster yellows, disease distorted buds.Trial Data

Comments
It is tough to beat Aster 'Serenade!'; This series didn't really distinguish itself from others, to my eye.
