Good Qualities
Good color (7); Good flower size (3); Large flower heads (2); Sturdy; Heads held up-right, some branching; Attractive dark center; Good stem length, direct sow, had good stem vigor; This sunflower was very nice. Wish I had hundreds more to sell. It bloomed in 48 days; No lodging after big storm; Single stem, gold/dark disk and yellow/light disk; Customers like pollenless; Very uniform; Standard sunflower;
Problems
None; Blew over in the wind; Pollen, variable color; About 30% of late crop had deformed heads, semi-split into two heads.
Comments
Similar to 'Sunbright'; Similar to 'Superior Gold'; Sprayed fungicide and plants were free of insects and diseases; Flower diameter is 4 - 7 at 12 ×12 spacing. Could be planted closer; OK but nothing special; No better than others on the market.
