Stems seem shorter than other colors in the series; Not tall enough; Later than other two varieties ; 'Fortress' bloomed later than QIS and therefore had fewer flowers; Rose Sinuata tends to turn a darker color after being dried and stored; Weaker than white; Leaf disease susceptibility; Variable quality; Many stems per plant, but not many flowers.Trial Data

Comments
Vastly inferior to 'Compendi Rose', which I also grew this year; Bad year for Sinuata. Grown side by side with 'Grimes QIS Rose' - QIS bloomed earlier and had better yield. Neither variety produced as it had in previous years. Plants were mulched irrigated and had every advantage; Do not really like 'English Statice' as dried - to brittle, breaks apart too easy. Would be good as a fresh flower but not dried.
