Poor planting conditions in spring caused immediate flowering. Difficult to really judge.; For this area it is a close race to gain a mature plant in the length of season available. A healthy and easy to grow plant but for locations this far north it is risky venture, though the plants held up well through the first early snowfall and managed to rebound to reach maturity.; Taller than other Nigellas.
